Course Description

3714. Soil Mechanics. A study of soil properties, classifications, strength and behavior. Theory of consolidation, shear strength and stability analysis. Two hours lecture per week. Prereq.: 'C' or better in the following courses CCET 2614L, CCET 3706, CCET 3709. 2 s.h.
