Course Description

3736. Criminal Victimization. Dynamics of the victim-offender relationships within the Criminal Justice System. Review of advocacy programs including information on victim compensation/assistance programs. Examination of society's attitudes towards victims. Review of current laws advocation for compensation of crime victims. Prereq.: PSYC 1560 or SOC 1500 or CRJS 1500. 3 s.h.
