Course Description
3755. Information Assurance. Introduction to Cyber Security basics. Topics include: the roles organizations, laws, and people play in cyber security, current cyber security trends including an analysis of cyber-attacks and possible defenses, and industry best practices in regard to information security. Disaster planning and recovery. Prereq.: C or better in CSIS 1590 or (CSIS 1595+CSIS 1595L) or (CSIS 2605+CSIS 2605L) or (CSIS 2610+CSIS 2610L). 3 s.h.
