Course Description

3706. Introduction to Literary Theory. Provides an introduction to literary theory and criticism for English majors, emphasizing the history and application of critical approaches to literature. By reading core works in literary theory, students will learn application of theoretical approaches to various texts. Prereq.: ENGL 1551 grade of "C" or higher. 3 s.h.
