Course Description
8990. Graduate Research in Health Sciences. This course is a graduate research experience that will allow the student the opportunity to contribute to research that is directed by an individual faculty mentor and refine their thinking on research design and implementation. This course will facilitate the student’s formulation of a potential dissertation topic or provide opportunity to create foundational work for their dissertation. 1-9 s.h.

| 8/24 | Week 1: Meet with Academic advisor and create a plan for what work is to be accomplished toward your research project for the semester. This process can be highly variable depending on the nature of the research and where you are in the continuum of your project | This first week meeting with the research mentor and set the standards for all milestones throughout the semester. We are requiring you to meet with your research advisor every other week for routine updates and consistency. |
