Course Description
3793L. Broadcast Sports Performance. Students receive instruction on play-by-play announcing and on the preparation and extemporaneous discussion of player and team statistics, as well as, other appropriate sports-related information. Skills for conducting media interviews. Crosslisted: TCOM 3793. Prereq.: TCOM 3780 or MCOM 3780. 2 s.h.
In this course, students will learn about what it takes to be an announcer in the sports broadcast industry. This will involve radio, TV broadcasts as well as interviews, pre and post game presentations.
