Course Description

1556. Singer's Diction: English/German. The prime objective of this course is to introduce students to the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA), and apply it properly to the English and German languages in the service of adequate lyric diction for soloists, choristers, and music educators. Prereq. or Coreq.: Two semesters of private voice lessons or permission of the instructor. 1 s.h.
