Course Description

2697. Introduction to Nursing. This course provides an introduction to nursing. Emphasis will be placed on an introduction to the history of nursing ethical and legal considerations, information management, roles of the professional nurse, self-care, nursing study skills, and nursing career opportunities. Prereq.: Admission to nursing program. 3 s.h.
