Course Description

3731. Child Bearing, Family, and Women's Health Nursing. Family-centered nursing concentrating on health promotion and illness prevention, acute and chronic healthcare needs for parent(s) during the reproductive expanding phase of the family cycle and for women from adolescence through old age. Three hours lecture and six hours clinical experiences in a variety of settings per week. Prereq.: NURS 3741, NURS 3741L or departmental permission. 5 s.h.
