Course Description

7045. Family Nurse Practitioner 1. Knowledge, skills, and professional behaviors required to provide comprehensive and holistic primary care to a culturally diverse population across the lifespan. Emphasis is on health promotion, health maintenance, and management of common health problems pertaining to children, adolescents, gynecological, reproductive, and family centered primary care with an emphasis on physical assessment findings for determining and planning of patient care needs. Prereq.: NURS 6904 with a grade of B or better and NURS 6917 with a grade of B or better and NURS 6918 with grade of B or better. 3 s.h.
