Course Description

4808. Environmental Health Concerns. Industrial hygiene, hazardous and infections waste, air and quality, and sanitation policies in health care facilities. Pertinent federal, state, and local legislation. Prereq.: none. 3 s.h.

This will include VIDEO TAPED LECTURES, NARRATED POWER POINT PRESENTATIONS, POWER POINT HANDOUTS, OUTLINES, SUPPLEMENTAL READINGS, AND VIDEO PRESENTATIONS. The instructor has gathered this information from numerous sources including textbooks, websites, conference notes, and personal experiences. It is impossible to document all sources used in the formulation of the instructional material used in this course. Therefore, the instructor does not take credit for authoring any of the material presented in the course but to provide the best learning experience for the student has gathered materials from sources that he feels provides the most accurate information available. Any use of such material without documentation is in the interest of education and purely unintentional.
