Course Description

4821. Internship in Sociology. Application of sociological knowledge in settings such as social agencies, government offices, hospitals, nursing homes, correctional facilities, and industry. May be taken multiple times for a maximum of 9 hours. A maximum of 6 semester hours may be applied to the Sociology major. Prereq.: Junior standing and at least 9 semester hours of Sociology, and permission of program coordinator. 3-9 s.h.
