Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance, College-Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati  

Master’s in Opera, The Curtis Institute of Music

Apprenticeships at with opera companies in Chautauqua, Miami Opera, and San Francisco 

Italian language study at L’Università per Stranieri, Perugia, Italy  

Performing experiences with outstanding colleagues, including conductors, stage directors, coaches, instrumentalists, and singers with opera companies and orchestras around the U.S.  It was my privilege and delight to learn from all of them, as I do from each of my students.  What they learn is up to them.

Each student will be assigned appropriate repertoire for their current level of study, and will be expected to buy at least one book per semester. Others may be referenced at the Maag library or using online sources such as the Petrucci library.  

The course readings are subject to change in the event of extenuating circumstances, research developments, current events, and/or to ensure better learning.
