Course Description
Through reading and assignments, students will identify the early major achievements of humankind on different parts of the globe. The course is organized both chronologically and regionally, starting with the ancient civilizations of Mesopotamia and Egypt and then traces other world civilizations in Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas, and their influences upon each other until 1500.
The course counts as 3 hours of AH for General Education and may also be used toward fulfillment of the major and minor in History.
