Course Description

2625. Introduction to Printmaking: Intaglio and Relief. An introduction to basic intaglio and relief printmaking processes, including etching, collagraph, lino-cut, woodcut, and multiple-block printing. Emphasis on technical, formal, and conceptual issues related to each technique. Prereq.: C or better in ART 1503 or permission of instructor. 3 s.h.
