Course Description

8125. Educational Politics and Policymaking in the United States. Reviews professional literature on politics and policy making at the local, state, and federal level, including the values, institutional actors, processes, and interest groups that shape educational policy. Explores means of identifying problems, analyzing policy alternatives, and measuring policy outcomes. Admission to the Ed.D program required. 3 s.h.
