Course Description
WEB BASED
If you are taking this course as a WEB BASED...5875. Interprofessional Education for Health Professions there is no requirement to meet at the midlothian free clinic an alternate assignment is included in black board and the course will remain 100% asynchronous with no set time to meet online. This course promotes interprofessional collaborative learning through professional training. The core objectives are to promote values/ethics, roles/responsibilities, interprofessional community, and teamwork. This course capitalizes on cultivating collaborative experience for students to provide patient centered healthcare.
Dual Credit/Graduate Credit
If you are an undergraduate student and wish to take this course for dual credit graduate credit you must have a 3.2 GPA and a minimum of 60sh completed and complete the final summative assignment. You must have also requested dual graduate credit from your program director and advisor Dr Kelly Colwell, prior to taking this course. He will need to send a graduate credit form to graduate studies to have the request approved. This should be requested and complete before the start of the semester. If you are registered as an MRC graduate student, you do not need a signed form for graduate credit as you automatically have graduate student status. If you are not taking this course for graduate credit, you do not need to complete the final summative assignment
