Course Description
3763. Percussion Methods. Study of snare drum, marching percussion, timpani, jazz drum set, keyboard, Latin percussion, and orchestral accessories. Topics include instrument selection and maintenance techniques as well as pedagogical approaches. Designed to prepare students for instrumental music teaching careers. Prereq.: MUTC 1531 or MUTC 1531N or permission of the instructor. 1 s.h.
