Course Description
1585. Acting 1: Fundamentals. The fundamental theories and techniques of acting. Through a combination of classroom exercises, laboratory performances, readings and written assignments, will learn the fundamentals of Stanislavsky’s acting theory. This course will include a holistic approach to acting whereby the students will develop their physical and vocal instruments, their emotional intelligence, their ability to research and analyze the actor’s text, and to reawaken their creative intuition. One hour lecture/three hours lab. 3 s.h.
