Course Description

3768. Script Analysis for Stage and Screen. An introduction to various critical approaches to dramatic literature utilized by actors, directors, designers, dramaturgs, and other artists in theatre and film. Special attention is given to the text as a foundation for realized production and the author's use of dramatic structure, action, subtext, and symbolism. Prereq.: THTR 1560 or permission of instructor. 3 s.h.
